Piper has officially been home with us for 1 week now. Overall, I think things have gone VERY well. She loves her bouncy chair (see picture below) and has gone on a few walks in the stroller (and Chester has been very gracious about letting her use "his" stroller). Piper also had her first Dr.'s appointment and she's been called "the poster child for breastfeeding". I guess that means we're doing something right... she's eating well and gaining weight. We'll be going back again this Friday for a weight check (they want to make sure she makes it back to her birth weight within 2 weeks).
Today was Jason's first day back at work. Piper was a little sad to see her daddy leave for the day, but she was super excited that her grandmom came to hang out with us. My mom came down to help out for the day with loads of food in tow (we will never go hungry again). We had a really nice day and it was so nice to have someone around to help out a little. Tomorrow should be interesting as I'll be all alone (except for Piper, of course). But my sister Suzanne will be coming down on Thursday and Friday... so that will give us something to look forward to.

It's wonderful that things are going so well for you. Glad you're getting company to help out. In time, you will come to cherish your rest. Hope we can help out a little bit too when we come.
