Don't forget to wash behind your ears

Now I know why mothers always harp on their children to wash behind their ears.  During Piper's bath last night, as she was sitting up and playing with her toys in the water, I noticed something weird behind her ears.  Yup... carrots!  She had, apparently, somehow gotten carrots behind her ears during dinner last night.  Why she thinks that's a good place to wipe her dirty hands, I don't know, but now I do know where that old saying, "Don't forget to wash behind your ears," comes from.

On a side note... Piper is gobbling up her veggies and fruits like a champ!  Last night we started with 2oz of carrots.  That was not enough so we moved on to a little pear puree mixed with rice cereal.  Even after that she was still hungry so she got a bit of the plain pear puree for dessert.  Man, that kid can eat!
