Piper versus the rice cereal

We decided to start Piper on some rice cereal last weekend.  We were originally going to wait until 6 months to start solids, but lately she's been grabbing at our food, staring intently when we eat or drink something, and overall just seemed ready to take on this new adventure.  So we mixed up a little bowl, sat her in the Bumbo, and off we went.

This is what she thought...





I don't think she liked it very much.  This weekend we will try carrots.  Supposedly they are a good first food.  We shall see.

In the last picture she seems to be pleading for someone to save her from the dreaded rice cereal.
